How AI is priced
AI is paid for with prepaid credit rather than being folded into the seat price, so a month you do not use it is a month you are not charged for it.
Credit is bought in packs of $10.00, $25.00 or $100.00.
A new account starts with $5.00 of AI credit to try it with, the first time you register an address. It is granted once per person, so a second account for the same address does not receive another one.
Buying more credit is part of the Pro plan and the ones above it.
AI usage is charged at a small multiple of what the model provider charges us, and the credit you hold is drawn down as you use it.
Questions people ask first
What counts as a seat?
One person who can sign in. You choose how many you need when you subscribe and change the number later without starting again.
What happens when my AI credit runs out?
The AI features stop until more credit is added. Everything else keeps working, and nothing you have already produced is affected.
Can I change plan later?
Yes. You can move between plans, and change the number of seats, from the billing page inside the product.
Is my data locked in?
Record and dashboard exports are part of the paid plans, and the table above says which ones carry them. Importing is available on every plan.
